WORLD ART IN BODRUM with DEMOS FAIRS
Bodrum, one of the unique destinations of renewal, revitalization, sea and nature holiday, makes its name among the cities of art with the second Bodrum Art Fair this year. Bodrum Art Fair (BAF), organized by DEMOS Fairs with the support of Bodrum Municipality, Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum, Bodrum Maritime Museum, BODTO, BODER, BOTAV, opens its doors to art lovers with VIP Opening on 28th June.
Bodrum Art Fair (BAF) welcomes 40 galleries, 300 domestic and international artists, collectors and art lovers at the Herodot Cultural Center. Bringing together the world’s leading galleries, artists, institutions and organizations in two editions in Bodrum, BAF’s first edition meets art lovers between 29th June – 3rd July 2022, and the second edition will be between 23rd August – 28th August 2022.
BAF strengthened its place in the competition between world contemporary art fairs with its first edition held between 29th June – 3rd July 2022; In addition to painting and installation works by classical, modern and contemporary artists, it simultaneously presented sculpture exhibitions in four venues to art lovers.
Atlas Space’s “Metaverse and Art”, Arkhe Project’s “NFT and Art” seminars, as well as the “Under the Sea Painting Technique” with underwater artist Olga Belka and the HELPZONE “Climate Change for a Better Future” seminar were held for the first time of the fair. Kerem Görsev, one of the leading jazz pianists of our country, took place with his concerts in three days.
In the first edition of BAF; Ali Topaloğlu, Ayla Angın, Ayşe Betil, Berna Atlıhan, Ezel Merve Kuşkay, Khamıda Efendieva, Nermin Yokuş İpekçiler Artface, Nilay.K.Yıldız, Yüksel Başaran Yıldız, Han Keser, Rana Sirkecioğlu, Shokofeh Delkhahi, Ahsen Küçükçalık, Ayşe Kaygın Comba, Dilek Civanoğlu, Pascale Massoud, Samia Wardane, Şebnem Diler, Melika Khodadoost, Roye Mıchel Dagher, Dilara Oktar Gürses, Khadija El Hattab, Ranna Doumani, Mona Kfoury Mouawad, Güler Özcan, Saliha Atif, Abir Baltagı, T.H.E.N.O (Ezgi San Ozansoy), Nihan Çakır, Naima Assassi, Samira Darya, Meysem Nejad Rasouli, Gordana Janevska, Ivan Dragan, Myron Kataran, Mira Bachkur, Elina Bilous, Volodymyr Trynsolyn, Svitlana Galdetska, Andrew Chizhov, Kat Mozgin, Kıvanç Nalça, Serena Tiana Conway, Meryem Selçuk, Najmeh Delara, Anthony De Baets, Elena Tuncer, Lalehan Tezkan, Elif Güneş, Safranda Mammadova, Recep Çağırdar, Gülay Baran, Olga Belka, Güher Elçiçek, Ayşen Dinç, Yelim Özdinç, Saadet Söyleyici Yasa, Deniz Kırımsoy Denge, Necdet Kırımsoy, Elbruz Denge, Ufuk Kucur, Kadir Özyalçın, Nagehan Elibol and Nilva Özden, are among the participating artists.
And Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University “Bodrum Faculty of Fine Arts”, Arkhe Project, Alaz Sağlam, Roubloff ,Balart, Toraman Art, Galeri Mcrd ,Galeri Abay, Bitci, Atlas, Space, Arkhe, Project, Ab, Binyıl, Gala, Guga Contemporary, Bodrum Art Project, Tamer Şahinoğlu Art, Negara, Tunca Sanat, Color Box, Misman Art, Doruk Art Project, Haydar Ekinek Art Gülten İmamoğlu Art, Mustafa Günen Art and Nidra Art was the participating galleries.
Bodrum Art Fair, which was officialy opened on Tuesday, June 28th , 2022 at 6pm at Bodrum Municipality Herodot Cultural Center, continued with a Kerem Görsev concert after the cocktail. The fair was presented to the visitors between 4pm-10.30 pm between 29th June-03rd July.
